Faithful Fasting is a faith-based online fasting program owned and operated by CAATIE Corp ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why, who helps us handle it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
We are not a doctor's office, hospital, or health plan, and Faithful Fasting does not provide medical care.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
Purchase details: what you bought and when. Your card is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Health screening answers: your answers to our eligibility questions and the health screening in our participant waiver.
Doctor's clearance: any doctor's note you choose to send us.
Emergency contact: the name and phone number of the person you list.
Signed waiver records: your typed signature, the date and time you signed, your email address, the version of the form you signed, and technical details such as your IP address, so we can show who signed what.
Things you choose to share: messages, prayer requests, and, only if you choose, photos, weight, or scale numbers.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our website platform may collect basic technical information such as your browser type, device, pages viewed, and IP address, and may use cookies to make the site and checkout work. If we use advertising or analytics tools (such as a Meta Pixel), they may collect browsing information on our public pages. We never send your health screening answers, doctor's notes, or other health information to advertising or analytics tools.
2. Why we use it
To run the program: deliver your purchase, emails, texts, and program materials.
To decide whether this fast is safe for you, based on your screening answers and any doctor's clearance.
To contact your emergency contact if we believe you may need help.
To process payments, refunds, and rollovers.
To keep records of your signed waiver.
To answer your questions and improve the program.
To meet legal obligations.
3. Who helps us (service providers)
We use a small number of trusted companies to run Faithful Fasting. They handle information only to provide their services to us:
Stripe: Payment processing
Systeme.io: Website, checkout, signed forms, email delivery, and contact records
Twilio: Text message (SMS) delivery
Zoho: Our email inbox (hello@faithfulfasting.net)
We may also share information when you ask us to, in an emergency (for example with your emergency contact or emergency services), or when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information or your health information, and we do not share your health information with advertisers.
4. Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your phone number and agree to receive texts, we send program messages such as fast-day reminders and encouragement. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, and reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. We do not share or sell your mobile number or text opt-in information with third parties for their marketing.
5. How long we keep it
Health information (screening answers, doctor's notes, emergency contact): kept for 12 months after the fast you joined ends, then deleted, or sooner if you ask us to delete it.
Purchase and signed waiver records: kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
Email and contact information: kept while you are on our list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
6. How we protect it
We limit access to health information to Nicole and team members who need it to run the program safely. We keep it in password-protected accounts, not in group chats or public spaces. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy,
correct it,
delete it, or
withdraw your consent to our use of your health information.
Email hello@faithfulfasting.net. We will respond within 45 days. Withdrawing consent to health information means we may no longer be able to include you in a fast, and you can roll your payment over to a future fast. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's law.
8. Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This section applies to Washington residents and to consumer health data collected in Washington, under the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373). Some other states, such as Nevada and Connecticut, have similar laws, and we apply the same practices to everyone.
Consumer health data we collect: health screening answers (for example pregnancy, eating disorder history, diabetes, kidney, heart, and blood pressure conditions, medicines, weight and BMI, recent illness or surgery), doctor's clearance notes, emergency contact information, and any weight, scale numbers, photos, or health updates you choose to share.
Why we collect it: to decide whether this fast is safe for you, to require doctor's clearance when needed, to reach help in an emergency, and to support you during the program.
Where it comes from: directly from you, through our forms, emails, and messages.
Who we share it with: our service providers listed in Section 3, only to store, process, or deliver it for us; your emergency contact or emergency services if we believe you may need help; and others only if you ask us to or the law requires it.
Third parties and affiliates: we do not share consumer health data with any third parties or affiliates other than the service providers named above. We do not sell consumer health data.
Consent: we ask for your consent before collecting consumer health data, and separately before sharing it with your emergency contact, using the checkboxes in our participant waiver.
Your rights: you can confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data, get a list of anyone we have shared it with, get a copy of it, withdraw your consent, and ask us to delete it. Email hello@faithfulfasting.net with the subject "Health data request."
Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject "Appeal." We will respond to your appeal in writing. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General.
9. Children
Faithful Fasting is only for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, we will let you know by email.
